Simplified Configuration/Tuning A predefined motor file for the LXR sets all electrical parameters. The drive will set all electrical parameters required to configure proper continuous and peak
currents, current loop compensation values, and default gain settings (for an unloaded motor). Users will have the ability to override these parameters for special application requirements. Tuning is easy to use and
intuitive for users. Users can tune their drives via RS232/485 with a PC or palm PC. The motor and some load information must be known by the drive to determine the baseline tuning gains. These will be simple
parameter entries the user can complete with the help of the front-end software tools.
Sinusoidal Commutation For optimal performance, commutation is sinewave using encoder feedback.
24V Keep Alive The user can optionally provide 24 VDC to power the control circuitry in the event of an AC main voltage shutdown. With the 24 V Keep Alive active, communication
diagnostics, position feedback, and other logic functions will still be operational to minimize corruption of this signal, appropriate filtering and isolation for the 24 V is present. This input is optional to the
user as all drives can operate directly off the AC line.
Error Log The Error Log is capable of recording the 10 most recent errors with a time stamp. If an error occurs, a "snapshot" is taken of the status registers,
drive temperature, and motor temperature. This information will be retained upon power loss.
