 Parker’s DM 1004 is a high performance direct drive rotary servo system which provides high accuracy and torque without the need of speed
reducers. It consists of a brushless direct drive motor, a cross roller support bearing system, an integral optical encoder, a microprocessor-based drive, power supply, and a 10-foot motor-to-drive cable.
The highly efficient direct drive brushless motor design eliminates the need for a gear drive or other mechanical drive train. The result is long life, maintenance free operation.
The cross roller bearing design can support up to 350 kg (770 lb) of compression load and 3,3 kg-m (24.4 ft-lb) of overhung load.
